Best of 2018!

Hi lovely readers,

Today I’m going to be sharing the best moments, best skin care, best makeup, best books… pretty much the best of anything from the past year!

Let’s start with the moments.

I went to Tri-Delta formal and I had the time of my life getting dressed up – and getting to wear my first suit!

We adopted our adorable (but now 160 pound) puppy, Ciera! She’s an absolute love.

I went to see one of my favourite artists live with my best friend Michelle. Amazing night, amazing music.

My best friend Becca came over for a sleepover and we had lots of Tom Brady cuddles.

Lots of travel! We went to Saint Martin and it was absolutely beautiful.

Lots of family time too. Family love is unconditional and my family happens to be pretty damn great.

Onto beauty!

The Tatcha Rice Polish deep is truly the best exfoliant I’ve ever used. It doesn’t feel rough on your face but it definitely gets anything that needs to expose itself out of your pores. And it makes your skin super smooth after.

When I breakout, I always switch back to the Origins Checks and Balances face wash and it immediately calms my redness and seems to clear any acne.

The Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Toner seems to be keeping my breakouts at bay too, and it just feels lovely to use. My skin seems so much calmer and smoother after starting to use it.

My favourite concealer of the year is the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea. It covers anything perfectly, it goes on so smoothly, and the applicator is somehow exactly the right shape for under the eyes or on any spots you might have.

And finally, for highlighter, I’ve been loving the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Metal Moon. It’s so subtle but when the sun hits the right part of your face it looks gorgeous!

That’s everything for my end of the year wrap up. I do want to say that 2018 has been a very difficult year, for a lot of people including myself, but I have a lot of faith in the notion that 2019 will be a much better year, as long as we all put everything we can into making it so.

Thank you so much for reading!

Lots of love,

Liz
